When Powel Crosley built his first hand-made radio set, he probably never envisioned that 80 years later it would include not only an AM/FM radio, but also a record player, cassette deck with a recording feature, and yes, even a CD player. True to original Crosley stylings, the Entertainer Plus Recorder features a hand rubbed wood veneer cabinet, wrap around woven grill cloth corners and quality components that only Crosley can deliver. And while careful attention to original detail lends an air of authenticity, modern technologies add the perfect finishing touch. The Crosley Entertainer Plus Recorder comes complete with AM/FM radio, programmable CD player, cassette deck and full function remote control. All this, plus the option to record your vinyls and CDs onto a cassette, along with witty design, makes the Entertainer a must-have in any home.

How do I receive a 45 adapter if it wasn't in the box?
Call Crosley Radio at 1-866-CROSLEY for assistance.

When playing the record, can the lid be closed?
Yes, the record will still play with the lid closed.

What is the screw next to the turntable?
The Turntable Suspension Screw. For transportation, it locks the turntable down. For use, it allows the turntable to sit on its suspension.

If my turntable is not turning, how do I get it to turn?
Make sure the power is turned on and the unit's function selection is set on PHONO and then gently move the tone arm to the right until you hear a "click". Remove any cassettes that might be in the cassette player. Lift the tone arm and carry it over to the beginning of the record.

Why will my tone arm not return?
The turntable is not automatic. The record will stop at the end, but the tone arm will not return. The tone arm is a click-style: It is a manual turntable and will only return manually.

The record is playing, but I get no sound.
Make sure to remove the white protective needle cover from the end of the tone arm. Make sure the plastic needle was not removed when the protective cover was taken off. Adjust the volume to a higher level.

Why does the needle slide across the record?
Make sure to remove the white protective needle cover from the end of the tone arm. Make sure the red or white plastic needle was not removed when the protective cover was taken off.

Why does my turntable say STAND BY?
STAND BY is the mode the unit goes into when turned off. In STAND BY the unit will only consume enough power to retain your station presets and activate the remote sensor.

How do I get my remote control to work?
Insert or replace the batteries. If this doesn't work, please contact Crosley Radio at 1-866-CROSLEY for assistance.

Why does the turntable turn too slow or too fast?
Make sure you have the correct speed selected for the record you are playing. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you will need to return the unit to the retailer of purchase or contact Crosley Radio at 1-866-CROSLEY for assistance.

It sounds like only one speaker is working. How do I make them both work?
Call Crosley Radio at 1-866-CROSLEY for assistance.

Why won't the plug fit into my wall?
Make sure the plug safety cover is removed. Crosley units use a standard Polarized safety plug that has one blade wider than the other. If your outlet does not take this type of plug, you may need to look into a possible converter or contact Crosley Radio at 1-866-CROSLEY for assistance.

The tone arm seems stuck, how do I get it to move?
Call Crosley Radio at 1-866-CROSLEY for assistance.
