By the late 50's, stereo records reached a peak in the marketplace as hi-fi sound reproduction attained its largest audience to date. The portable turntable was introduced in the late 1950's and provided music lovers with a sense of independence, allowing them to easily cart their record player from one locale to another. The popularity of this unit was due in no small part to its portability, but also to its suitcase styled finishing touches that became a Crosley hallmark. The Crosley Traveler Turntable is designed to reflect the portable stylings of yesteryear. This fan favorite is a 3 speed belt driven turntable that plays 33 1/3, 45 and 78 RPM records. The Traveler includes modern conveniences such as a diamond stylus needle and dynamic full range stereo speakers. So whether you choose Ella Fitzgerald or Elvis, celebrate your vinyls in portable style.

If my turntable is not turning, how do I get it to turn?
Make sure the power is turned on and the unit's function selection is set on PHONO and then gently move the tone arm to the right until you hear a "click". Remove any cassettes that might be in the cassette player. Lift the tone arm and carry it over to the beginning of the record.

Why will my tone arm not return?
The turntable is not automatic. The record will stop at the end, but the tone arm will not return. The tone arm is a click-style: It is a manual turntable and will only return manually.

The record is playing, but I get no sound.
Make sure to remove the white protective needle cover from the end of the tone arm. Make sure the plastic needle was not removed when the protective cover was taken off. Adjust the volume to a higher level.

Why does the needle slide across the record?
Make sure to remove the white protective needle cover from the end of the tone arm. Make sure the red or white plastic needle was not removed when the protective cover was taken off.

I lost my power adapter, what is the correct voltage?
12v .5 amps or 12volts 500 milli amps

Why does the turntable turn too slow or too fast?
Make sure you have the correct speed selected for the record you are playing. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you will need to return the unit to the retailer of purchase or contact Crosley Radio at 1-866-CROSLEY for assistance.

It sounds like only one speaker is working. How do I make them both work?
Call Crosley Radio at 1-866-CROSLEY for assistance.

Why won't the plug fit into my wall?
Make sure the plug safety cover is removed. Crosley units use a standard Polarized safety plug that has one blade wider than the other. If your outlet does not take this type of plug, you may need to look into a possible converter or contact Crosley Radio at 1-866-CROSLEY for assistance.
